Sustainability begins with the creative process. By acknowledging the impact of our decisions as an industry, we design apparel with its entire lifecycle in mind. We constantly update our tools and strategies to generate ideas that allow us to create more, with less strain on the environment. This includes incorporating green marketing strategies, positioning products to be environmentally sensitive, and considering sustainable manufacturing and distribution processes.
The integration of technology and design creates the opportunity for us to assess and improve garments before real-life creation, which helps with recycling patterns, minimizing need for samples, and reducing material waste.
Part of taking sustainable measures and operating with integrity, is the way we work with one another. Through communication and collaboration, we can simplify the complex idea of sustainability.
